Process
How a video production runs, stage by stage
Six stages, each with a clear output. You always know what is happening, what we need from you and what comes next.
Why the process matters to a marketing team
Most problems in video production are planning problems that show up late: a missing approval, a message nobody agreed on, a format nobody asked for until the edit was finished.
Our process moves those decisions to the front, where changing them costs a conversation and not a reshoot.
The six stages
- 01
Discovery
We talk through the business goal, the audience, where the video will run and any fixed dates. You provide context and existing brand material. You receive a written scope and a quote.
- 02
Creative Development
We turn the goal into a concept: the angle, the structure, the tone, and a script or interview outline where needed. You give feedback and sign off on the direction. You receive a creative treatment you can share internally.
- 03
Pre-Production
We plan the shoot: schedule, shot list, locations, crew, and talent or styling if the project needs them. You confirm people, site access and approvals on your side. You receive a production schedule for the shoot days.
- 04
Production
We film according to the plan, with a director running the set and the interviews. You have one decision-maker available to approve what is being captured. By the end of the shoot, the material for every agreed deliverable is recorded.
- 05
Post-Production
We edit, color, mix sound and add graphics, titles and music. You review cuts and send consolidated feedback. You receive review versions first, then approved masters.
- 06
Delivery
We export every agreed version in the formats and aspect ratios your channels require. You tell us where each file will be used. You receive final files that are ready to publish, named and organized.
What we need from you
A production moves at the speed of its approvals. These four things keep it moving.
- 01
One point of contact
A single person who collects internal opinions and gives us one clear answer.
- 02
Brand material
Logos, fonts, colors, existing guidelines and any past videos you want us to match or move away from.
- 03
Access and people
Confirmed locations, the people who will appear on camera and time in their calendars.
- 04
Known constraints
Legal or compliance review, sensitive areas of a site, launch dates and anything that cannot be shown.
How revisions work
Revisions are agreed in the scope before the project starts, so there is no surprise about what is included.
The first cut is where structure and message get corrected. Later reviews are for refinement: timing, graphics, music and small trims. Feedback works best when it arrives as one consolidated list from your side, not as separate notes from several people.
Changes that go beyond the agreed scope, such as a new message or additional filming, are quoted separately before any work begins.
Every decision made before the shoot is one that does not have to be fixed in the edit.
